The Football League First Division Table 1919-1930

Huddersfield Town

13 of these 34 clubs are now in the Premier League. Huddersfield Town won the league for 3 years in a row (the first 2 under Herbert Chapman) from 1924-26. That was the first time that this had been achieved. On the resumption of football after the war Arsenal were voted into the First Division and, uniquely, they have remained there ever since.
